We purchased two packs of these blue playmats to add some extra cushion to the flooring in our all-hardwoods house. Our daughter loves the texture of these mats, and the extra thickness is great for protecting her head when she tips over on occasion. I love that these mats do not have removable pieces - upkeep and cleaning are a breeze. It also makes them easier to move from one room to another. Highly recommend!

I have been looking for a mat for my 8 month old baby girl. We moved to a new apartment and I was not very comfortable with her playing on the carpet, since I was not sure how old the carpet is. I used to put comforter on the floor and it would not stay in place. I looked at few play mats in stores and did not like them because they were too thin or too hard. I also saw some others that were way too expensive. This mat is perfect. It is right thickness and is comfortable for her. It's also easy to clean too. I just use Clorox Anywhere spray on it. My daughter sits and plays with her toys on it, she is also trying to crawl now.

These mats fit together perfectly and are a soft cushion to fall on without getting hurt. We have hard wood floors in our home, so I bought these mats for our daughter to play / fall on and not get hurt. She loves them and so do I.

I ordered these mats several months ago and really liked them. They were thick and durable, reversible and fit together well. I recently ordered another set and was very unpleasantly surprised. The mats I received are a different color, only have the pattern on one side, and have a strong chemical smell to them. Plus they feel extremely cheap and flimsy, and arrived with some damage to them (obviously not from the shipping--as the box was fine). On top of that, they do not fit together with the other tiles I purchased. I am very disappointed and will be returning these.
Update: If you order more than one set of these mats (at different times), make sure they are from the same seller. The mats from Step 2 sold by Amazon are actually great quality..thick, odorless and fit well together. The tiles I reviewed above were from a different seller and were a completely different brand. Some of the sellers are attaching the wrong items to this item description--so be careful.
