At last, my search for a great frisbee is over!Apr 03, 2011
By Echosierra We are extraordinarily pleased with this frisbee. My Border Collie is extra hard on discs, and other than the silver printed lettering on top wearing off within minutes this one looks pristine even after being thoroughly mauled for the past few weeks. I have seen other commenters having issues with tearing, and I can see that as the rubbery material is not super thick and would probably not hold up well in a game of tug of war, but for one dog it's a great buy and flies well. Next time I'm buying the 3 pack!

Best dog frisbeeNov 29, 2010
By Robert Dickert I've used many different frisbees with my border collie, and this is definitely the best I've had.
The frisbee is soft and will never hurt your dog, even if you accidentally throw the disc right at the dog. Also, the material is tough and will survive even some chewing (I don't let my dog keep the disc for extended chewing, so your mileage may vary). I had one for a couple of years with no real signs of wear aside from the logo rubbing off (I finally lost it and bought a new one). It also has the virtue of being non-absorbent, so unlike ballistic nylon frisbees, its performance isn't affected by rain and snow.
Unlike other reviewers, I find that this disc flies really well once you know how to throw it. It is very light at therefore vulnerable to wind, but on a quiet day it goes quite far. No other dog-friendly design comes even close.
I got this disc under a "colors may vary" deal and ended up with a glow-in-the-dark one, which turned out to be a great bonus - get that one if you can find it.

Great, softer frisbeeJan 06, 2009
By Nancy We use this frisbee with our dog (a border collie puppy) and she loves it. It's softer so she's willing to catch it in the air, unlike the harder frisbee's at our house. We love playing with it with her, but it's hard to throw very straight over any real distance.

Favorite FrisbeeJun 25, 2008
By Tiffani M. Young Our dogs love these things. They don't get as distorted as fast as 'plastic' frisbees. They don't cause bleeding of gums, and they last quite a while. Cheaper at local stores like Target/Wal-Mart however.

unconventional shapeNov 05, 2006

OK frisbee, dogs didn't really like the lip. Because of the flexibility, it does not throw as far as we would have liked, but is perfect for training, puppies or dogs with sensitive mouths.
