4Aqua Leisure Swim Aid With PantsJul 27, 2010
Overall, this product is an improvement and safer over the typical water wings children wear in the pool. The inflatable tube is made of a quality rubber that inflates well. The swimming pants on the other hand are a little more than to be desired. My child is small for a 2 year old and it was a tight fit getting it on. I would highly recommend that the manufacture make snaps for the shoulders to make it easier to get on. Once on, it appeared that there was a little room for growth and the material is a little stretchy so it is hard to tell how long this product will be wearable. My child only used it once, but it seems like a good, solid product. The only other negative is that the child becomes front heavy when leaning forward, so you have to make sure they don't tip over in the water as they cannot upright themselves. This is a good product for a very young child, but when they get older, I would recommend the life jackets style flotation devices they make for when children are learning to swim.

3Good ProductJul 06, 2010
I bought this swimming tube for my 20 month old son we weighs...32lbs. At first he could not hold him self up and it was tipping him over...but the trick is to let them build up their confidence and learn to balance. after 2 weeks he was good to go and was swimming all around the pool , trying to jump in....it was wonderful. One issues i have ...it is hard to get on and off...the arm holes are not streching at all. I am gonna try to cut and sew some buttons in it...also it tends to rub him raw between his legs...swimming trunks seem to help with that issue.
Overall great product. DO NOT LEAVE IN THE SUN!

3This one didn't last too long.Jun 27, 2010
We purchased two different floats, one for my older son and one for my 2 year old. Well this one tore almost immediately after inflation. The other one has been great. Also, I saw this one at Kmart for $[...], so check local stores before purchasing online. It really hurt to see it at that price after I purchased it for more and then for it to not even last long, uuugh!

1Not for younger childrenApr 03, 2010
My grandmother was a YMCA swim instructor and tough me and my 9 cousins to swim using this trainer. I was delighted to find it on here and buy it for my son. We have tried it at 18months, 24 months and 30 months and each time the tube has flipped him face down and would have held him in that position. I do not like this tube at all for him right now, but I'll hold on to it and try it again when he is school aged (if it still fits and he still needs it).

4Pretty good..but not perfectFeb 15, 2010
This is a pretty good swim aid. My child at first had to be watched and held. Otherwise he would flip over in the water. After a month or so, he got the hang of it. This could be designed a bit better. Also, it is not very durable and has ripped.
