An excellent model of the Rio Grande & the Danube class runaboutMay 27, 2010
By S. Carey Unlike the inaccurate Micro Machines model, Furuta's designers really nailed the shape of the Rio Grande.

Most accurate I have seenApr 24, 2011
By HM Trekkie This is the most accurate runabout model I have seen. (I used to own a much larger one that cost much more and was not as accurate. Amazing since it cost 10 bucks. Don't let the size and price fool you. Furuta does miniatures better than anyone.

It's not very durable, because it doesn't HAVE to be - not for my purposes, anyway. The product snaps together and then snaps onto a red base with a little nameplate. The tiny little model is fully painted and decal-ed when it arrives from Hong Kong. It is pretty and highly detailed for such a small model.
I paid about $10.00 for the model and another 5 to ship it standard. I'm satisfied.
