3Ehhh Not As Good As The OriginalDec 28, 2011
By J. Rodriguez "MzJae773"
I purchased this game for my 11 year old daughter and liked it. However when I played with it I thought it was a bit basic. Its definitely not like the original. The older pink phone was way cooler and the board is flimsy and falls apart if your not careful. As long as my daughter like it, I was okay with it, but if your looking for the original effect... this will not due to the trick.

5Amazing game for tween girls! So fun for slumber parties!Jul 14, 2011
By MomOf3Girls
My girls ages 9, 11, and 13 and their friends played this for hours the night we gave it to one of them for their birthday. The game is very fun. I did sit with them the first go around as the instructions can be a bit much but we played as we learned and after the first round, everyone got it fine. Each player gets to call someone each turn and then also gets a text message on the phone. These give them hints as to the secret admirer...kind of like the game Clue. The texts are in actual text lingo so my oldest was better at deciphering a few words but I did pretty well when I analyzed them. Game very well made with picture cards clever and cute and the phone appears sturdy and works easily and well. Text on phone a bit light but coud make it out fine and very well lit up. After playing the actual game, then they just laid 24 cards out with the various boys pics and names on them and then took turns 'calling' them with the phone. If you dial using the question mark it is as if you are guessing the secret admirer in the game so the phone rings and each guy will say "no not me" but the secret admirer will say "Hey, want to go to the movies?". They would go around and around just guessing who he is each time and pretending to talk until one of them got the guy who wanted to go to the movies. Then they would all laugh and squeal "ooooh, he wants to go on a date with you...ha ha, it's with the geek or oooh it is with the surfer!" They got so loud and I could barely pry it away from them to get them to bed. We buy lots of games and this is the most fun, well thought out one for the tween and early teenage girl. Would give it 10 stars! Price is so good on Amazon I am buying a few more for gifts and even a back up as I don't want to risk it breaking!

3Not the Original!Apr 17, 2012
By Audrey
My little sisters didn't like this game as much as i thought they would. I miss the old dream phone that lets you dial the numbers like a real phone would... but the game is the same, minus the modern improvements like the text messages. The gameboard is flimsy, not intact like the original; But like the original.. the game cards have real faces on them. Its still a whoot to hear them say "wanna go out?" but the original was better because it would say "yes,i like you" .. felt more personal.. maybe its me. Still same ideal fun!

5I love it!Jan 19, 2012

I'm 11 and I got this for my birthday. It's simple and fun! Great to play it when you're having a party, sleepover, etc. The battery dies quickly, and the way you use the phone is a bit complicated to use. Other than that, it's a great game to play when you're bored or having friends over!
