Its a great product. It keeps track of my progress so I know that I am actually improving. You can do without if you don't care about knowing the exact rpm and improvement. I personally like to know how much I improve.

I loved my Powerball from the day I got it, but I also knew I would need to get the speed meter soon. Knowing it was out there and waiting for me, I had to give in and get one.
This had made my Powerball so much better! I have been able to set goals to work towards, which has kept me addicted. With a reason to keep going, my attention span holds strong.
This thing is the perfect addition to a Powerball if you like to set goals for yourself!
