We ordered this off Amazon, and it arrived shipped in the box you purchase it in, so no protective padding. Inside, wood was cracked, screws were out and it was damaged to the point where we returned it. We ended up buying the same one off [...] and had it shipped to the store - there it was packed in a protective box and came mostly undamaged. I think that the material it is made out of is prone to scratches, and really should be treated gently - it is a fun game, but the wood quality is a bit lacking. Even the one we got at WalMart had some dings and scratches on it brand new. So well - I think it is a bit overpriced for what we spent, considering the wood quality, but we are glad to have it because it is a lot of fun.
