Good toy to make the kids exercise!Apr 21, 2010 We have had this toy for over a year now and it has been used pretty roughly, stored even more roughly but has withstood it all. The kids love it and when they have playdates all the kids take turns and have a ball, little knowing that they are also exercising! The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is that the honeybee at the end gets bent so much that it is difficult to keep it off the ground and it gets dragged around. Not good for carpet but works okay on our wood floor.

Maybe we got a "dud"? Cute & great concept, but doesn't work.Mar 09, 2010 This toy hasn't worked from day one. I bought it because I'm always looking for different ways to keep my two boys active & moving, but it just doesn't rotate, even on our hardwoods. It starts, but stops before my kids get the chance to jump over the bee more than once. So needless to say, they lose interest in it quickly. Very disappointing, because it seems like it would be a lot of fun if it worked.
Hoppin' FunFeb 16, 2010 This toy is a hit in my house! My children both love it! They will play their own variations for hours. It is fairly durable. I wish there was a mute button because the music can become annoying after a while. I love the fact that this game requires my kids to move. It is great for movement control and timing.
My boys love the honey bee hopFeb 14, 2010 I got this for my 3 year and 19 month old. They both loved it. They had more fun chasing it rather then jumping over it.

Comparison ShopFeb 13, 2010 There were a couple aspects of this toy that I did not anticipate. As other reviewers have said, it doesn't work well on carpet. If you're using it outdoors, any patch of cement will do. But if you're using indoors, you need a large area with no obstructions and flat flooring. Also, because the honeybee rotates around the yellow "hive", the diameter of the toy is extremely large. I would highly recommend comparing this with the Super Skipper by Iplay as it has all the same fun but none of the drawbacks (the rotating handle is elevated making the type of flooring irrelevant and the spinning axis is in the middle, making the toy need half the amount of space to play.) I would purchase that instead if I did it over again.
