Great alternative to Hi-Ho-Cherry-OJan 09, 2011

Hi-Ho-Cherry-O is a very popular game with the little ones in our house, but sometimes not so popular with mom, who gets tired of finding cherries all over the house, or of replacing the cherries on the tree when an enthusiastic preschooler gets excited during the game.
This game is a terrific alternative, and gameplay is somewhat similar to the old preschool staple. Players move their tractors across the board one space at a time. As they move, they pick up cards that have either a golden apple, a tractor, or a raccoon. The point is to be the first to cross the board with at least 4 golden apples. Landing on a tractor gives you an extra turn; landing on a raccoon causes you to lose an apple.
Gameplay is very fast - a game can be finished in 5 minutes or less, making this a great activity to squeeze in before bedtime. The cardboard gameboard and cards are very sturdy, making this a game that will probably physically outlast the time period your child will be interested in it.
A Fun Family Game With Little OnesJan 27, 2012

We had so much fun with this game since our little boy has just in the last few months gotten into tractors this made him so happy. He had a blast with this and well his sister was so sweet she even played with him. He caught onto the game very fast and now wants to play with it all the time. This was a huge success with my little boy and if your little boy loves tractors or little girl this will be a game that they have so much fun with. Plus with it being ages 2-4 it gives the extra little ones a game to be able to play and fun with.
