Durable, great tools, difficult patterns for a toddlerJun 18, 2010 We ordered this bench for out 3 year old grandson. He enjoys using the tools - especially the drill, hammer and tape measure. The patterns are difficult for him to follow and do not lend themselves to creative building like Lego blocks. I am disappointed in general. Our grandson loves to build things - is creative with Legos - but does not enjoy using the work bench.
Great ToyApr 17, 2010 My husband does a lot of woodworking and other construction projects. My 3 year old loves to watch and always wants to steal daddy's tools. Little tools are cute, the wood pieces are great for little guy imaginations and seems to hold up to all the punishment that a toddler can dish out. Great buy at a much cheaper price than many of the other brands names of construction sets.
Best Kids Workshop I've BoughtMar 25, 2010 We've had a couple other kids work benches, and this is easily the best one, and also the cheapest of the ones we've had. As for the reviews on here that complain about durability, I think they have to realize that these are plastic children's toys. Of course it will be a little wobbly, but it's not like you are cutting real 2 by 4's on it. I bought it for my 2 year old, but my 7 year old plays with it about as much as the 2 year old. The older one loves building things with the "wood" pieces, and the 2 year old loves just drilling and hammering. We are very pleased with the purchase.
Best work benchFeb 11, 2010 My son has 3 different work benches, and he loves this one the most. He is able to build some of the easier projects, and he just turned 2. My daughter is 3.5 and she can build some of the more complicated ones. The bench is sturdy, and the tools are a nice quality. My only complaint is I wish it would have a few more pieces.
workbenchFeb 07, 2010 Great for my g-son who loves to build things, but there are a lot of pieces. Some of which should probably be put up until he is older.
