Great for Star Trek fans!Apr 05, 2010

The tiles are plastic and the board easily gets finger prints and smudges on it so it could be made higher quality. BUT if you are Star Trek fan and want something for fun, not just collectible, then it is a lot of fun! We really enjoyed trying to get the extra points using Star Trek related words.

What a blast. The tiles are not the highest quality, just plastic with painted letters, but they seem to be lasting well. And the bag is just a tough plastic bag. I was hoping for something more fun, but I can make one. Other than that it is great. Such a blast.

Got this for my husband who is a Star Trek fan and an avid scrabble player. He was a little disappointed with the "extra word dictionary"...which is not a separate book...just a small section in the rules. But he is please to own it.

Beautiful board. Great quality. Extra points for using Star Trek related words!
Makes the game of scrabble much more interesting!
Only one minor problem, but its hardly vexing. The board and pieces are very smooth, so if you're a klutz, try not to accidenly hit the edge of the board when you stand up, etc. or the pieces may slide right out of their places.
Worth it.
