4Good Climber...with a few issuesJun 30, 2010
My husband and I bought this climber for out 23 month old son. Step 2 claims this climber is for ages 2-8 but I think 2-5 is probably the maximum. My son is small to average for his age and it fits him perfectly at his current size. He likes playing in it except when it gets wet and water pools in the steps up to the clubhouse. Since this is the only way onto the climber, without climbing up the slide, he doesn't like to use it when this happens.

It was very easy to put together so I really like that. If we can get a few years out of it and sell it for half what we paid I think it will be a very good investment. We have a long narrow yard, so this was a great option for us instead of a large swingset. Fits well and there is still pleanty of room for other fun outdoor toys.

5Excellent purchaseJun 29, 2010
I was a little reluctant at first due to the price. However, as soon as it came in the 2 boxes, my daughters wanted it put together immediately. It was raining out, so I tried to setup part of it inside to give them something to do. Well, about an hour later, the whole thing is inside now. The girls don't want me to take it outside. It's sitting in my living room. My 1.5 yr old loves it too. I think it really gave her some confidence she needed to walk on her own. Since playing on it, she's been walking without our hands. (this is the truth!!-no lie)

I bought this because friends of ours had it at their house (in the backyard)and it was a hit with the kids including mine. It is sturdy and well designed. Another Step 2 product. There's a reason that they're resale is high.

Hope that helps.

4Very PleasedJun 08, 2010
Very happy with this toy we bought for my son. He enjoys playing on it whenever we're outside. Not challenging to build and light enough for 2 people to move it.

5Exactly what we were looking for!May 28, 2010
My 2.5 year old is in love with this. She calls it her Jungle Gym. It was a a great purchase!

5LOVE IT!May 03, 2010
Bought this for my daughter who is 18 months. She is an only child and has to be encouraged to play on it by herself. She makes our dog play on it with her. (don't ask) She sits at the mini table and talks on the phone. She is just learning how to go down the slide by herself. Kinda cute! She doesn't know how to use the rock wall quite yet, she will use her knees in the cut outs instead of her foot, but she is getting used to it. Found it the cheapest on this site. Over $150 dollars cheaper. Shipping is what gets ya, but I found it for free shipping. She needs to go where I go, so it's nice that she can play on it when I need to tend to the yard. Very easy to put together. I did it by myself in 2 hours. I just didn't read the directions all that well, and never noticed the two sides of the house, so I put it on backwards. The walk ramp didn't fit right, and that's when I learned I did it wrong. Fixed it in 10 min.
