Definitely not an ice-breakerSep 23, 2009
By Reviewer from Oakland Someone brought this game to a quasi-business meeting of acquaintances and strangers as an ice-breaker to help people get to know each other. The questions such as "what made you cry last" and "what would you change about your childhood" were way too personal for the group. Maybe if you only used it with close friends and family it would be OK, but the questions were intrusive in this setting. You could see people read the question and then try to think of an answer that would be OK to use with the group in the room. Definitely not an ice-breaker game.

Better than I expoected,Nov 27, 2010

I bought this to use on my wedding reception tables to help break the ice and start converstions between folks that know US but don't know each other. The questions range from funny to very deep. I tried it out on another couple we know, and we had a blast hearing each others 'Stories" from their past, fears, desires, reflections on life, etc. Sounds overly deep, but really moves along. Every once in a while you get a question that you really have to think about......I love this item. I plan to get other sets.

Love this and can't wait to get more!Jan 06, 2009
By Leigh Anne Lindsey I love this product.. I've took it to several family events that are normally boring and only just chit chat. Once I brought out these cards though, the conversations really got rolling. Learned a lot more about my grandparents and parents than I would have ever found out otherwise!!
