 Fun Strategy GameJan 07, 2010
Fun game that takes some thought. Each card has multiple ways that it can be played (that is where the strategy comes in). The trick is to win as many hands as you bid, without winning too many--this is where changing suites on the cards comes into play. Great strategy game for adults--not good for young children.
Another nice thing is that many people can play.

The game is pretty simple, but you need to play a few rounds before you really get the hang of bidding. You must make your bid, and get the "tricks" exactly. Therefore, you either need to intentionally lose a trick, or try to win a trick. Playing with two people is easier to judge if you can make your bid; with an increase in players this game would be more challenging, and exciting. Overall, this game was a lot of fun and you had to use strategies, and the stat card helps, once you understand it.

I got this card game as a gift to my father because he thoroughly enjoys bidding card games such as Spades and Hearts. We all played it, and loved it (some more than others). While the game has an element of luck involved, there is a lot more strategy and thoughtfulness required. I am also a teacher, and have played the game with students at a middle school level and thought it was an excellent educational tool as well. I highly recommend this game!

Excellent game. I was playing the game on the Set Game website and enjoyed it, but playing with the physical cards along with friends adds much to the enjoyment. The quality is excellent and the instructions quite clear. In this game, you may think you have it all figured neatly, but it really isn't set until the last card is played. It challenges your powers of memory, reasoning, and logic.

Weird, but funJan 06, 2009
I bought this item as a gift for Christmas and it was perfect for the guy. He's an avid card and game board player, and he enjoyed it a lot. It's rather complicated to start off with, but once you get into it, it can be a lot of fun. I love playing spades, hearts, and euchre so I wish I got one for myself as well! haha
There are small parts as it says in the description, so don't say they didn't tell you. :)
