Love the 2 levels!!Jan 11, 2012
By Robyn I was actually REALLY impressed with this game. I was nervous it would be too hard for my 3 1/2 year old, but there are 2 levels of game play. One is categorization/matching. Everything is face up so mom & dad can help, if needed. The other level I want to play w/ my 6 & 7 year old. It has all 10 phases, but they are 4 cards each instead of complicated ones like in the regular game.
Yo Gabba Gabba FUN!Jan 06, 2011
By C. James My daughter is 3. She learned and loves some other classics - Old Maid, Crazy Eights, Go Fish - a few months ago, then my daughter received this Yo Gabba Gabba Phase 10 card game from Santa for Christmas. It is her FAVORITE game. She'd rather play this than her disney princess card games.
There are two different ways of playing, two different "levels." The easier level 1 and more difficult level 2. My daughter easily grasped the concept of level 1, but we haven't tried level 2 as per the directions yet. Instead, we lay the 4 cards down in front of us face up so I can help her.
She really gets it, though; even at age 3. When she wins (she knows she's won without me having to tell her!) she LOVES shouting Yo Gabba Gabba! I love that it's educational. It's much more difficult and challenging than her other games. She already knows her numbers, shapes and colors, but still it reinforces it.
GREAT GAME! Highly recommended :)
